Hello 4S,

Welcome to our brand new class blog! A place for me to share information and pictures, to let your parents and carers know what we’ve been up to, and for you to communicate with me and each other.

As we are off on our exciting trip to the Natural History Museum tomorrow, I will upload some photos here, so your parents and carers can see all of the lovely things we did.

But, I would love to hear from all of you now, and see what you might like to see on here in future.

  - So sorry about the delayed reply! There isn’t an exact date yet, as Miss Hibberd is waiting to get all of the slips in before she can book. As soon as we have a date I will be sure to let all parents know.

Hi, I was just wondering if the children’s diary/planners are read, as I wrote a comment about my son in last weeks page, I also signed and dated where requested but as of yet have not received a reply or comment on my comment and the teacher has not signed off on last week, is this something that is meant to happen?
Also reading on this blog a child in one of the other year 4 groups has achieved her bronze award on her merits, where as my son’s book does not have any merit stamps in at all. How do children attain a merit?

  I’m so sorry not to have signed Toby’s reading record yet – it has been acknowledged (I am keeping track in a mark book) that he has been reading! I will be sure to sign it this week.
  With regard to merits, allocation was discussed at this week’s staff meeting and it will now be more consistent amongst all staff. Toby has in fact received one this week for the beautiful homework that handed in last week (he will see it when he gets his homework book back on Monday) 🙂

    Thank you for your reply, Toby will be really happy to receive a merit especially for his homework!
    Toby had a fantastic time at the Natural History Museum on Friday and he has asked to go back and hasn’t stopped talking about it!

Hi,
Toby said he received a merit today for his homework but you didn’t have time to out a stamp in his book, is this true? Also Toby did read yesterday but I or got to record it in his diary/planner.

To Miss Segal, I have done my homework, a bar and a pie chart. Can i use another tally to do more charts because I enjoyed doing them on the computer. Thank you. I hope you have a nice day tomorrow because Im going for a chinese. I like you as a teacher.thank you for listening.
